In Indonesian Guntur means THUNDER. This sub is designed for use in a 2.1 listening system or a cinema system. (amp not included)
Active sealed box subwoofer. A sealed box was chosen, as the relatively small box (which is often prefered in home theater systems) does not allow for a sufficiently large port tube to be fitted inside. Furthermore, vent noise is completely eliminated. The powerful 300W class AB amplifier features low and high level inputs, adjustable cross-over frequency, phase inverter switch and level control. Internal bracing ensures a rigid cabinet suitable for low frequency reproduction. Experimenting with subwoofer positioning (in combination with the phase inverter switch) is important, as this has a significant impact on bass reproduction. Possible modifications: Damping material (not too much – if any at all should be used).
